The Art Deco era started in the 1920s. Its development was founded on the tension between functionalists and decorators, who had different values. The functionalists valued function and simplicity, while decorators valued labor-intensive craftsmanship and the elite market.

in the year 1925 the world's fair in paris this took pass post world war 1 the essence of art deco  are chevron shapes and zig zags which you can see on the pillow on the images up top and large mirrors.

Industrial Design 

Indusrtrial design was the study how people interact with devices for example radios and fans the industrial design focus less emphasis on aesthetic goal and more through commercial goals of increasing sales the ways that this both era's work together is with the ornamentation of art deco with the slick forms of stream lining

Tamara de Lempicka


Tamara de Lempicka born in the year 1898 and died in the year 1980 she was known as the Baroness of the brush she work as a polish painter and she work in France and the United States and she  painted  wealthy aristocrats.
