  The Emergence of Modernism The Emergence of Modernism started in the 1900's things that contribute to the Modernism movement was the Art Nouveau and the praire style because of that came about the advances of Building skyscrapers modernism was a rejection of historical design more about embracing Industrial design's. The many architects for the start of modernism are Frank Lloyd Wright, Walter Gropius, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Le corbusier that created the bases in which dirctetion modernism design would take during that time period.
